The Bunkhouse is a separate building within the grounds of Glasbury House and provides accommodation for up to 27 people. There are five bedrooms on the first floor with bunk beds for 12, 6, 5, 2 and 2. This facility can be hired for fully catered and instructed courses, or as an overspill facility from the Main House to enable week long courses for up to 70 students.
Alternatively it can be hired for self-catering groups, with meals or outdoor activity instruction added if required. There is ample parking space, a camping area (only to be used as an overspill for the group occupying the Bunkhouse) and a BBQ and picnic tables are provided for fine weather.
Throughout the year small independent groups can use this popular facility situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, for both activity and curriculum orientated courses. It is an ideal base to relax and enjoy the many attractions of the surrounding area, why not stay and attend the Hay Literary Festival.
The multi purpose dining room/classroom/lounge provides a range of seating for a variety of activities to suit each group. Meals can be served here through a serving hatch from the kitchen.
